The median annual wage of LPN and LVN was $40,380 in May 2010. The median wage is the wage at which half the workers in an occupation earned more than that amount and half earned less. The lowest ten percent earned less than $29,680, and the top ten percent earned more than $56,010. Three-quarters of licensed practical and licensed vocational nurses worked full time while the rest worked part time or on variable schedules.
